4 · Setup
No card needed, but connecting email asks for far too much access.
- Enter your email and a code, then connect Slack or WhatsApp (needs a phone number). It answered about 15 seconds after our first message.
- Adding it to Slack asks for wide access and shows "App is not approved by Slack".
- Email setup goes through an outside company and asks for broad access: full Gmail (including permanently deleting email), plus date of birth, addresses, phone numbers and contacts. We allowed Gmail only; access lasts 6 months unless you keep it on.
5 · Disclosures and change log
We received nothing from Ako's maker: no free or special account, no payment, no placement fee.
Tested on the free plan with an Assistant Compass test account in the US (Arizona time). Makers can appeal or correct a fact at assistantcompasshq@gmail.com.
