4 · Getting started
Quick to start, but it wants full access to send from your Gmail first.
- Google-only sign-up needs full Gmail access (read, compose, send) plus Google Calendar. No read-only option.
- A short onboarding, then the chat. No phone number, no card.
- The default mode is “Auto”: it acts without asking. Approval settings exist in its docs.
5 · Disclosures
Disclosures and change log
- Three AI judges (Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini) scored each answer with assistant names removed, using our published scoring guide; the final score is the middle of the three.
- Tested on the free plan in the US; nine tasks ran on the Pro trial Town switched on.
- We received nothing from Town: no payment and no special access.
- Makers can appeal or correct a fact at assistantcompasshq@gmail.com.
- Two checks are still running: a reminder check on Nov 5, 2026 and a 3-day daily-check watch.
